Aigues-Mortes, surrounded by its pink salt marshes, is particularly popular with children: they can climb the ramparts and the top of the Carbonnière tower. The tourist office offers a treasure hunt for younger children and an escape game for teenagers. A barge cruise is also possible.
More modest, Salin-de-Giraud was born a century and a half ago around the salt marshes. Closer to the campsite, Le Cailar and Saint-Laurent-d’Aigouze are less than fifteen minutes away.
