Aigues Mortes is a town in Occitanie in the south of France, within the Camargue, which can be visited from our campsite in Lunel .

For the record, the city was founded by Louis IX in the 13ᵉ century as a port on the Mediterranean Sea. It was at this time that the famous ramparts of Aigues Mortes were founded, which encircle the entire town and these guard towers to protect the town. Then, after more or less dark periods, this Mediterranean city regained notoriety thanks to its saltworks activity.

Les Amandiers take you on a discovery of this historic and gourmet town in the heart of the Camargue. With such a program, you won’t be bored camping in Aigues Mortes .
